Christian Aid
May 18, 2008
The start of Christian Aid week began at Christ Church with a Christian Aid Lunch which included a cake stall. Over one hundred people attended raising over six hundred pounds. Congratulations to the members of the Social Team who organised the lunch and prepared all the exciting and tasty dishes.

Typical food now is:
Corn on the Cob (eaten cold) for BREAKFAST – and -
ONLY ONE OTHER MEALwhich may be Spring Greens, peanut butter and some Zadza (Polenta -
its like our mashed potato)
YOU HAVE TO GROWthe greens and nuts and only have Polenta if someone you know has been over the boarder (with money) and got it!!
To grow your own crops U NEED WATER but U MAY HAVE TO DIG DOWN AND SHARE A NEIGHBOUR’S BOREHOLE
~~~ooOoo~~~
Christ Church supports ZIMBABWE all year round as our Mission work on “International” justice issues.
